Question: Who will perform the actual ceremony?
Answer: The Mobile Marriage has a staff of trained officiants who have performed many marriage ceremonies. All are experienced, appropriately dressed for your event, with pleasant personalities.

Question: Is the Mobile Marriage a wedding planning service?
Answer: Yes, we will book location, musicians, caterers, florists, etc. Ask for Jill Kruger when you call. Even if you've already booked some vendors, we can coordinate with them to ensure a smooth wedding planning process.
Question: What about music at my wedding?
Answer: You may bring your own music or use one of Charleston's fine musicians or DJ services.
Question: At what locations do we need a permit?
Answer: White Point Garden, Hampton Park and the Angel Oak in Charleston all require a permit which takes under a week to process. There is a small fee. Contact Jill Kruger. Fort Sumter requires federal permitting. Folly Pier also requires a permit.
Question: Will you come to our home to marry us?
Answer: Of course. Intimate home weddings are lovely.
Question: My groom and I have both been married before. May our children participate in the ceremony?
Answer: The Mobile Marriage has vows which include children and make them feel involved on your special day. Smaller children may wish to participate as ring bearer, flower girl or junior bridesmaid. Sons often walk their mothers down the aisle.
Question: Will you perform a more religious than civil ceremony?
Answer: Certainly. Prayer is always appropriate on a wedding day. Call us for a quote for an ordained minister.
